Historical Art
This section mainly consists of pastiches / working in the style of for research for my Units in art.

This was the very first historical piece I did which triggered my passion for historical art. Pastiche of 'Lieutenant George Dyer' By James Northcote.
This was my first attempt at recreating old art and early days of using oil paint. I diluted the paint with linseed oil which now I know is art to blend if you thin out the paint too much. I could have improved this painting by thickenning the paint more.
Following on from the previous painting, This is the out come of the same unit. I did a final oil painting of my friend Anna Day in the style of James Northcote. I did this 4 months before the end of my firstt year of sixthform.
