TATTOOS
In 2017, I had a Unit in art called 'Art In Context' where we could devote anything that is an art form into this unit, I would like to be a tattoo artist when I'm older so I was thinking this unit would make a decent or at least 'alright' portfolio.
The design below is my final piece for my Art In Context Unit. To get more possible marks, making it personal was a good way to do it. I designed a memorial tattoo dedicated to my grandad who I spoke about in my bio. He meant alot to me but sadly passed away in July 2016. I create a line drawing with tonal value to represent his passing and below 'MCMXXXV' (1935) which is his birth year in Roman Numerals.
I enjoyed every second of this project :)
